Full Stack Developer Resume Template
A Full Stack developer resume built from a real job posting, with the keywords the recruiter looks for.
The candidate of this template is fictional: keep the structure, replace the content with yours.
This resume template is the one of a Full Stack developer applying to a public fintech job posting: payment APIs, transactions, security. Every line answers a keyword of the posting. The candidate is fictional: keep the structure, replace the content with yours.
What the recruiter is really looking for
In the posting, four expressions matter more than the others. Here they are, and what to write in your resume for each.
REST APIs for payment services
Don't list "REST API": say what your API does, with a number. For example: "Payment API connected to MTN MoMo and Orange Money, 4,000 transactions a month".
Transaction handling and data integrity
In fintech, prove that no transaction gets lost: SQL transactions, idempotency keys, zero double charges. A result beats a tool.
Application security
"Security" alone means nothing. Name your practices: JWT, rate limiting, input validation, OWASP Top 10, secrets kept out of the code.
Experience shown through projects
Not enough professional experience? The posting accepts projects: put your GitHub or portfolio link at the top of the resume, and describe two projects with their result.
The annotated resume

Adapt this template to your application
- Read the posting and underline the four or five expressions that come back or are required.
- For each one, find a true achievement from your background that answers it, with a number if you have one.
- Replace the template's lines with yours: keep the shape (action verb, context, result), not the content.
- Reuse the posting's words in the Skills section, in the same order, without inventing anything.
- Add your links (GitHub, portfolio) at the top, then save as PDF to send it.
The .docx opens in Word or Google Docs; the PDF is ready to send as it is. Either way, replace the fictional content with yours before you send your application.
Frequently asked questions
Is this resume template really free?
Yes, it is free. The PDF downloads directly, with nothing asked. The editable Word file comes when you leave your e-mail address.
Can applicant tracking systems (ATS) read the template?
Yes: a single column of text, plain headings, no layout table and no image that contains text. Tracking software reads the content in the right order.
What if I have no professional experience?
Put your projects first: a GitHub link, an internship or personal project, with the technology used and the result. When a posting accepts "experience shown through projects", that is what the recruiter wants to see.
Does the candidate of the template exist?
No. The profile and the numbers are fictional but realistic, to show the shape of a resume line. Don't copy the achievements: replace them with yours.
Can I use this template for another job?
The structure, yes (profile, experience, projects, skills, education), but the keywords come from one specific posting: redo the exercise with the posting you are applying to.
